Raven's Pass on course for Two Thousand Guineas
Stonerside's RAVEN'S PASS (Elusive Quality) is being geared toward an April
prep ahead of his tilt in the Two Thousand Guineas (Eng-G1) at Newmarket on May
3.
The chestnut, an impressive winner of the Solario S. (Eng-G3), closed out his
juvenile campaign with a third to New Approach (Galileo) and Fast Company
(Danehill Dancer) in the Dewhurst S. (Eng-G1). The homebred could
resurface in either the April 17 Craven S. (Eng-G3) at Newmarket or the April 19 Greenham S. (Eng-G3) at Newbury.
"He has done well over the winter and seems in good form," trainer John
Gosden told Racing Post. "We will probably look at the Craven with him, or
possibly the Greenham two days later."
