Champion juvenile filly SWEET CATOMINE (Storm Cat) closed as the slight favorite

when wagering concluded for Pool 1 of the Kentucky Oaks Future Wager on Sunday.

A total of $10,663 was wagered on the bay filly, making her the 9-2 pick among

the 24 betting interests. The mutuel field, which includes all other

three-year-old fillies besides the 23 individual betting interests, also closed

at 9-2, but had $10,442 in the wagering pool.

Sweet Catomine has captured her past four starts, including the Breeders' Cup

Juvenile Fillies (G1), and made her sophomore bow a winning one with a 2

1/2-length score in the Santa Ysabel S. (G3). SIS CITY (Slew City Slew) was the

only other filly listed with single-digit odds, ending with $5,391 wagered to make her the

9-1 third choice. The bay lass ran fourth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies

prior to finishing her two-year-old campaign with a victory in the Demoiselle S.

(G2). Sis City started 2005 with a dominating 16-length win in the Davona Dale

S. (G2).
