Tiger Ride turns back favored Include Betty in Valley View
Tiger Ride (Candy Ride) got the jump on 5-2 favorite Include Betty (Include) and
held on to win by a length in the $150,000 Valley View at Keeneland on Saturday.
Ridden by Edgar Prado for owner-breeder Dixiana Farms and trainer Graham
Motion, Tiger Ride completed 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.99 at odds of 6-1.
Although immediately downgraded from a Grade 3 after it was moved from the
turf to the dirt, the three-year-old filly event is likely to have its grade
re-instated after few major contenders were scratched.
