An overflow field of 13 has been entered to contest 1 1/2 miles on Calder's

turf in Saturday's W.L. McKnight H. (G2). REVVED UP (Sultry Song) has captured

five of his six starts this year, ran up a 5-3-0 mark from eight races in 2005,

and appears more than capable of continuing his stellar form here. The

eight-year-old veteran ran second by a neck in this event last season, and so

far in 2006 has added four stakes to his record, including the 1 1/2-mile

Sycamore Breeders' Cup S. (G3) two back. Revved Up will keep Eddie Castro in the

saddle and could make it four in a row.

SPIDER POWER (Ire) (Royal Applause [GB]) earned his first black-type victory

last out in the Wicapi S. at Calder, and has placed in four other stakes this

season. The Kiaran McLaughlin-trained sophomore has always been in contention

this year while missing in the likes of the Virginia Derby (G2), National Museum

of Racing Hall of Fame S. (G2) and Jamaica Breeders' Cup H. (G2). Spider Power

owns the numbers and talent to take this one under Joe Bravo.

INTERPATATION (Langfuhr) tried Calder's turf for the first time last out,

running two lengths back in fourth in the December 2 Tropical Turf H. (G3) after

a filling that same spot in the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Invitational S. (G1) at

Belmont Park in October. The dark bay gelding earned a 103 BRIS Speed figure

that day and a 108 BRIS Late Pace rating for his Tropical Turf run. The Robert

Barbara charge looks very capable.

ALWAYS FIRST (GB) (Barathea [Ire]) is making his third start for trainer

Thomas Voss here, having captured the Cape Henlopen S. two back. Most recently,

the bay gelding was third in the Sycamore, earning 104 Speed and 115 Late Pace

figures. The five-year-old is returning here off a two-month break, but has won

off long layoffs in the past and will be tough in the top three. Rene Douglas

has the call.

BIG PRAIRIE (Danzig) has won three of his past four, with his only

non-victory coming as a fourth in the Sycamore. The bay four-year-old may prefer

a little less ground, but still held his own that day and could add some value

to the exotics. DREADNAUGHT (Lac Ouimet) is looking for his first score since

taking the 2005 Laurel Turf Cup, but the six-year-old bay has the ability to

challenge in the top three. RAMAZUTTI (Honor Grades), second in the Wicapi last

out, spent the summer competing against Grade 1 company and might show up in the

bottom of the gimmicks at a price.

BOB'S PROUD MOMENT (Proud and True) has finished off the board only four out

of 11 starts this season, but might not take to the 12-furlong distance.

EMBOSSED (Ire) (Mark of Esteem [Ire]) scored in the Kentucky Cup Turf S. (G3) in

his last start, and will be returning here off a more than two-month break. He

might need a race. DAVE (Ends Well) has been competing against state-bred

company and DEVIL'S PREACHER (Pulpit) is just a maiden winner. They might find

this level too much. TEOFILO (Per) (Riyadian) didn't do so well while making his

U.S. debut in the Wicapi last out and could need more time to acclimate himself

to his new surroundings.

BEE CHARMER (Ire) (Anabaa) won in his first race stateside, taking a

Keeneland allowance by a neck, but earned low numbers. Even if he draws in from

the also-eligible list, we don't see the four-year-old challenging.
