Trainer Mark Glatt swept both of the graded sprint stakes at Santa Anita on Saturday. Howbeit held on by a pixel in the Santa Anita Sprint Championship (G2), and a half-hour later, Whatmakessammyrun upset the Eddie D. (G2) on turf.

If Arrest Me Red can run as well in Saturday's $1 million Turf Sprint (G2) at Kentucky Downs as he did four months ago in winning the Twin Spires Turf Sprint (G2) at Churchill Downs, he'll deservedly stamp his ticket to the Nov. 5 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1) at Keeneland on Nov. 5.

At Del Mar on Sunday, Heywoods Beach dethroned 9-10 favorite Tizamagician in the Cougar II (G3), and Irideo pulled a $65 upset in the Wickerr S. after the big scratch of Smooth Like Strait.

The $125,000 Cougar II (G3) is Del Mar’s Sunday feature, but the real headline act comes one race later in the $100,000 Wickerr S.
