On Saturday’s Irish Champions Festival kickoff, classic-winning sophomores Auguste Rodin and Tahiyra raced into the Breeders’ Cup picture by defeating older horses in a pair of “Win and You’re In” contests.

The trainer/jockey tandem of Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore continued their roll in the Breeders’ Cup when Tuesday unleashed a potent kick to prevail Saturday’s Filly & Mare Turf (G1).

The marquee event among six Group 1s for Thoroughbreds at ParisLongchamp, the Arc is one of five Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” races on the superb card.

The hot favorite off her victory in the Prix de Diane (French Oaks) (G1), Nashwa readily passed her first test versus older distaffers in Thursday’s Nassau (G1) at Glorious Goodwood.
