Legalize continued his ascent with a successful stakes debut in the $97,000 Sugar Bowl S., and Leslie’s Loot sprang a $38.80 upset of the $98,000 Letellier Memorial for fillies.

Jockey Reylu Gutierrez continued his hot hand by riding four winners on the Monday card at Fair Grounds, led by a stakes triple.
